The Brass Pelican is a favorite private club for local residents and returning visitors who especially enjoy the large outdoor back deck. The membership fee is $5, and visitors can be signed in by a member. Entertainment is provided on Friday and Saturday nights with karaoke on Thursdays. Menu choices include deli sandwiches, appetizers and steamed seafood in the evening. Daily drink and food specials are offered.

This new upscale martini bar features a classic 40-foot polished wood bar with brass foot rails and trim. Sit back and enjoy your favorite martini or try their Topsail Lemonade before hitting the dance floor. It's open seven days a week with live music on weekends throughout the summer. The Commodore Room is located on the second floor, above the Mainsail Restaurant, and has its own entrance.
Crab Pot

This down-home establishment has a take-out window and a casual screened-in dining room and bar. Crab Pot's "Shag Shack" is a favorite with folks who like beach music and shagging, the dance of the beach crowd. The Shack features entertainment by local disc jockeys and popular beach bands. No one is a stranger at the Crab Pot.

Gilligan's is a private club with a membership fee of $5. Visitors for an evening can be signed in by a member. Featuring the largest dance floor in the area, Gilligan's has seasonal entertainment Wednesday through Sunday with karaoke and music for dancing. A shuttle service is always available. It's open daily year round.

Get ready to shag because the DJs here spin beach music on weekends. Feel the urge to belt out a tune? Margarita's hosts Karaoke nights ever Wednesday and Thursday. If you work up an appetite singing and dancing the night away, Margarita's dishes up the only late-night breakfast on the island, serving between 11 PM and 4 AM.

This bar has 5,000 square feet of fun, including a large dance floor, big screen TVs for big game and race days, walls of arcade games, pool tables, darts, DJs, Karaoke and bands. Enough said, Squeaky's has it all, including ABC permits. It is open every day at noon.

Sometimes the best nightlife on Topsail Island can be grabbing a great bottle of wine and relaxing on the deck with friends. Surf City Wine and Cheese has an extensive variety on hand. Wine tastings are held from April to October, advance ordering for vacation convenience or a 10 percent discount on a case of wine are just some of the services offered. You will also find imported beers and wine-related gifts in this shop.

Located in the heart of Topsail Beach, Skully’s pub offers a late night menu, fine wines and spirits, imported and domestic beer, pool tables, wide-screen TV and live entertainment. Pool tournaments are held every Wednesday night, and Thursdays are Surf Nights with surfing DVDs on the big screen and free drawings for surfing gear. Skully's restaurant makes homemade entrees including scampi, shrimp and crab au gratin, crab cakes, fried seafood and steaks. If you're in the mood for something lighter, try their homemade soups, salads, crab dip or sandwiches. Skully’s is open daily during the summer and is closed Mondays off-season. The pub opens at 4 PM, and dinner is served from 5 to 10 PM.
